TSARU — Living Intelligence

Tsaru, LIVING INTELLIGENCE

Tsaru Vision.

More room for life.

Our surroundings, our routines and the people we share our lives with shape one another. We are building Tsaru to understand those connections, and use that understanding to support everyday life.

A shared understanding.

A comfortable home means different things to different people. A quiet moment to concentrate. The right light to wind down. A day that feels a little easier to organise. These needs change throughout the day, and they do not always align.

Tsaru brings together context from your environment, your daily routines and the people you live with. Our ambition is for it to learn what matters to each person, recognise the rhythms of a household and find a thoughtful balance between different needs.

That understanding can help shape your surroundings, support daily organisation and anticipate when a little help would be welcome. The aim is a home that responds to the life taking place within it. Not a home that just responds to commands.

Quietly becoming part of life.

We believe technology can be valuable without constantly asking for your attention. Tsaru is being developed to offer support when it matters, while leaving space for you to get on with your day.

Over time, we want it to build a deeper understanding of personal context: preferences, experiences and the knowledge you choose to keep. Something useful when you need it, growing with your life and always leaving decisions in your hands.

We also want Tsaru to learn, gather and cherish the principles and values you choose to pass on, keeping them available over time and drawing on them thoughtfully to support you and the people around you, with room for those values to evolve.

Trust begins at home.

Understanding everyday life requires trust. That is why we are designing Tsaru around local processing, with personal data and AI kept within the home. You should remain in control of what is remembered, used or shared.

Privacy shapes the architecture we are building, as well as the experience of living with it.

Where the vision meets everyday life

Our First Habitat.

A house. An office. A living laboratory.

Today, our office and laboratory share a home we call the First Habitat: the first environment in which we are bringing Tsaru to life.

This extensively equipped house is our development and testing ground. It brings our software and hardware together in an unusually demanding setting, giving us room to explore complex interactions between spaces, systems and everyday routines.

Here, we can push configurations further, test how different needs interact and examine the details that isolated demonstrations can miss. We build, observe, question and refine, with the whole environment in view.

The First Habitat is where we learn what it takes to make living intelligence feel natural. It is an ongoing part of our development, as we work towards a product that earns its place in everyday life.

The future is bright.

Tsaru is currently in development. Our direction is simple: thoughtful intelligence that adapts to people and gives them more room to live.
