Tsaru, Living Intelligence
Privacy & Legal.
A little clarity. A lot of respect for your privacy.
The essentials.
Explore Tsaru at your own pace. We use the details you choose to share to answer your questions or contact you about the updates and beta-testing opportunities you select. You stay in control of those choices.

When you get in touch.
When you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any other details you include. We use them to answer you and manage the conversation. Contacting us does not sign you up for updates or beta testing.
For enquiries about a potential agreement, processing may be necessary to take steps you request before entering into a contract. For other correspondence, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding and following up. Legal obligations may require us to keep certain records.
Updates and beta testing.
Choose occasional updates, contact about beta-testing opportunities, or both. If you send the prepared email, we use the details it contains to follow up on those choices, based on your consent. We retain the email, including its date and consent statement, as the record of your request.
You can change your choices or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@tsaru.com. This does not affect earlier lawful processing. We stop the relevant updates or invitations.
We do not sell your sign-up details or share them with other organisations for their own marketing. An interest in beta testing is an invitation to start a conversation, rather than a guaranteed place.
Where your details are kept.
The form prepares an email to hello@tsaru.com in your own mail app. You review and send it yourself. Filling it in does not submit your details or store them in a website database. Once sent, Tsaru receives your sender address, selected interests, consent statement, chosen language and any name, message, signature or attachments you include. Tsaru handles the message on its own mail server, including mail backups. Your own email provider also handles your message.
We host our website and email environment ourselves. The storage and processing of data in these systems take place locally, in a secured environment at our premises in Belgium. If you send an email using your own email provider, that provider also processes your message.
Your choices and rights.
Depending on the processing and applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. We then stop unless compelling legitimate grounds or legal claims justify continuing. For direct marketing, an objection is always respected: we stop using your details for that purpose.
Send requests to privacy@tsaru.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; where the GDPR permits an extension, we explain it within that month.
You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, or the competent authority where you live or work. Contact the authority.

Keeping this clear.
Last revised: 28 October 2026. We update this notice when the website or its processing changes. Separate privacy information will cover the Tsaru app and actual beta tests.
